Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that all the 42 mega food parks approved by GOI will become operational by 2019. She also added that it will yield a potential investment of about Rs 14,000 crore. Under the scheme (2008-09) of mega food parks, the Ministry had sanctioned 42 projects throughout the country.
